How the desk works
Your quote sets a number of design requests per month. A request is one piece of work: a flyer, a set of post templates, an email header, a menu update. You add requests to a shared list whenever they come up and put them in the order you want. We work through the list one or two at a time, send each piece for your markups, and file the finished version where your team can find it.
Because the same desk handles your brand every month, nobody has to explain the colors, the fonts or how the logo should sit each time. The second flyer starts from the first one. After a couple of months, most requests need little more than the words, a photo and a date.
What the monthly requests cover
Monthly design desk
A set number of design requests each month, worked through in the order you choose, all in your brand.
SocialSocial templates
Post and story templates your team can edit, kept fresh as seasons and offers change.
PrintFlyers and print
Event flyers, menus, rack cards and postcards, set up for the printer you already use.
UpkeepBrand upkeep
Logo files, colors, signatures and templates kept tidy and current, so nothing drifts.
Who it suits
The desk suits small teams with no designer on staff and more design work than they want to hand out one job at a time. Think of a clinic that posts every week, a restaurant that changes its menu with the seasons, a nonprofit with a full event calendar, or a real estate team that needs a listing flyer every few days.
If you need one logo and nothing after it, a single project quote will fit you better, and we'll tell you so when you ask.
What counts as one request
| Usually one request | Usually more than one |
|---|---|
| One flyer or poster in one size | A flyer plus matching posts and a banner |
| A set of post templates in one style | Template sets for several campaigns at once |
| An update to an existing menu, price sheet or form | A new brochure with several pages |
| Resizing a finished piece for other platforms | A new logo or a full brand identity |
Your quote spells out how requests are counted for your team. If something on the list looks bigger than one request, we say so before starting it.
What to send at the start
- Your logo files, in whatever formats you have
- Your colors and fonts if you know them, or a few pieces you've made that you liked
- A rough list of what you put out in a normal month: posts, flyers, menus, emails, signs
- Which design apps your team uses, such as Canva, Adobe Express or Google Slides
- Who on your team will send requests, and who signs off on them
- Any dates coming up that need design work, like an opening, a launch or a busy season

Common questions
How much does the monthly desk cost?
It depends on how many requests you want each month, how large a typical request is, and how many people on your team send them. We send a written quote after we see what you put out in a normal month.
What happens in a slow month?
Whether unused requests carry over is set in your quote. Many teams use a quiet month for upkeep, such as refreshing old templates or tidying the logo files.
Can we change the order of the list?
Yes. The list is yours. Move a request to the top when a date gets close, and we pick it up next.
Do we need brand guidelines first?
No. If you only have a logo, the first requests pin down your colors and fonts, and we write them onto a one-page brand sheet as we go.
Are the calendars on this site real client months?
No. They are concept months for imaginary teams, drawn for this site, and the photos are labeled AI-generated samples. We don't show client work without permission.
Got a list of design jobs that keeps growing? Tell us how big your team is and what you put out in a typical month. We'll suggest a monthly request count and send a written quote.
